Congratulations to Dr. Pariya Salami and coauthors on the paper “Inter-seizure variability in thalamic recruitment and its implications for precision thalamic neuromodulation” in Communications Medicine!!! In this paper, the authors investigated whether seizure properties, such as electrographic features, can predict which thalamic nuclei a seizure is likely to spread to. These findings may help clinicians choose optimal thalamic targets for neuromodulation in patients with epilepsy.
